What Casing Does
Heavy wall casing prevents damage to pipelines or sensitive equipment while it’s performing hdd drilling. By casing an entry hole, we create a sealed conduit reaching between the surface and consolidated ground. This creates a sinkhole beneath the drilling rig, minimizing the risk of a frac-out or a surface release of the drilling medium.
Casing improves safety, boosts project confidence, protects valuable equipment and installations, and mitigates risk to the environment.
Removal
Heavy wall casing is easy to remove once drilling has been completed. With a simple conversion of our equipment, we can extract the casing from the same hole we installed it in – all without disturbing the surface.
Casing leaves a minimal footprint after remediation.
